COI
COI is an alternative induction for mobile gas burners. Accidents caused by gas leaks from gas burners have been repeated frequently in the past. So, a lot of alternative products are being made ready. This, too, did not completely complement the problem. Recently, however, technologies that compensate for the shortcomings of the previous ones have been released. This is a technology called hybrid that combines induction and highlights. By incorporating this technology into Koy, I created a product that compensates for the shortcomings of existing electronic heating devices while securing mobility. I thought of a concave design as an extension of the warm rice bowl. The heating plate varies flat or concave depending on the shape of the heating container, adding autonomy to the container selection. When it's operating, it's marine blue, and the temperature is increasingly red. The LEDs reflected in the container make the user more aware of the current state of cooking. The diameter of the product is 29.5cm, and it can hold almost all home cooking containers. The concave shape was inspired by the shape of a warm rice bowl, Matte hot plates, black glass, and semi-light stainless steel were used. The hot palette varies in three stages to match the bottom surface of the container, giving autonomy to the container selection to be used. The light reflected from the heating container ensures that the user is aware of the current cooking state. The knob, which is pulled and powered on clearly like a gas burner, induces a clear action, reducing the risk of accidents.
