Both products are designed to be portable, simple, and easy to use for all ages. They are made up of half transparent materials with clear, coloured markings for ease of use. User interviews and video analyses were conducted about the subject. Some concluded problems regarding existing blood pressure monitors were: Being hard to read for the elderly, the tube being difficult to manage, and incorrect measurement due to incorrect placement. The importance of correct placement was noticed thanks to the research. Therefore, a concave surface was designed to accommodate the users elbow. A way to support correct placement and a soft surface to accommodate the elbow was achieved thanks to the use of a soft TPE material for the cuff. Heres how the product is used: The user sits in a relaxed position, places his/her elbow on the soft surface of the cuff, and secures the cuff to his/her arm. The product lights up accordingly as the result appears. After the blood pressure measurement is complete, the cuff is wrapped around the body and the elbow support is closed on top. With the research conducted regarding thermometers, not being able to hold the thermometer under the armpit and not being able to follow the result were found to be common issues. In this thermometer, the sensor is larger when compared to common under the armpit thermometers. With more surface area, the product aims to achieve a more accurate reading while also being easier to hold under the armpit. Just like the blood pressure monitor, the thermometer lights up according to the result. In both products, even if the user is unable to see or read the screen, the result can be comprehended by looking at the colours.
