Project title
We typically see the desk lamps in our home which has one small light source head connected to a flexible snake alike neck which is supported by a circular thick base. Surely, it is flexible, cheap, portable. Yet not as small as a Tennis ball, not so compact or versatile to be used almost anywhere. So considering this limitation as a main necessity to change its design in terms of aesthetics & functionality, I came up with the Honey Bee Lamp concept whose surfaces resemble the honeycomb shape. This can be used in a drawing room as side lamp, at dressing table, in a bathroom/toilet while reading a newspaper and on a study table. It's a portable lamp having two main components - Lamp & Base. Lamp's lower half has six magnetic surfaces which help to stick with magnetic surface of the base allowing rotation in any direction. Both the contact surfaces are covered with rubber coating in order to form a proper grip between each other. The magnetic base's rear face has a wall-mounting hole for a non-magnetic wall. Since it's a modular product, and the lamp itself has magnetic surfaces, we don't need the base every time to stick the lamp. Its working process is quite minimal featuring the power button and USB charging port.
- Modular - Compact - Portable - 360-degree rotational - Wall-mounted - Chargeable
