For as far back as I can remember, I have always had to sacrifice mobility in order to keep my phone fully charged. This issue was even worse when I wanted to play music through my UE2 wireless speaker that required me to turn on the battery draining Bluetooth setting. At this same time, I happened to realize my iPhone 8 was wirelessly chargeable; along with the rest of the new Iphone’s and Galaxy phones that heavily dominate the market. It wasn’t very long before I noticed the opportunities in the problems I was facing. I wanted to design a portable speaker that would provide wireless energy to devices such as phones without sacrificing mobility.
